Squeezr doesn’t use accounts. There’s nothing to sign up for and no email collected just to use the tool.
Your video: uploaded files and their compressed output are temporary. They’re deleted automatically shortly after you download the result, and in any case no later than 15 minutes after the job starts, whether or not you ever download it.
Payment: if you buy a 24-hour pass, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. Squeezr never sees or stores your card details. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers that data.
The unlock cookie: a signed cookie marks your browser as having an active pass until it expires. It contains no personal data — just a signature and an expiry time — and isn’t used for tracking.
Usage counts: Squeezr keeps basic anonymous counts (e.g. how many videos were compressed) to understand demand. This isn’t tied to you or your files in any way.
Squeezr is provided as-is, with no uptime or accuracy guarantees — it’s a small, actively-developed project. Don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to, or anything illegal.
If a payment goes through but you don’t get access (e.g. your browser closed before the redirect back completed), email support@squeezr.example with your payment details and it’ll be sorted out by hand — either a working pass or a refund.
